The Beamie Awards 2021
The Beamie Awards is an awards program dedicated to recognizing the talent teams and trailblazers across Beamery’s incredible customer base who are truly making a difference.
The winners for this years Beamie Awards are:
Talent Acquisition Innovator of the Year : Balfour Beatty
Balfour supercharged its talent transformation efforts this year by kicking off a major program designed to amplify the hiring efforts of one of its largest business units. The innovation in how the team used the platform is undeniable - creatively setting up custom fields tailored for the profile they were looking to fulfill, and for the success of the initiative. They even leveraged a LinkedIn campaign to further collect relevant candidate matches. Balfour Beatty was able to seamlessly manage numerous pre-screens and formal candidate interviews which allowed them to fulfill nearly ALL positions listed in the original campaign.
Global Newcomer of the Year Award: Ocado
The logistics solutions provider partnered with Beamery in a number of ways to maximize its sourcing and recruiting efforts, putting talent transformation at the heart of the business. Ocado has seen tremendous results through the newly implemented Talent Community, optimizing how they source, manage and select the right candidates for the right job, at the right time. This all comes at a time when their business is growing and their strategy is evolving to include services, technology, and automation to grocery e-commerce businesses around the world. We aren’t the only ones to notice the impact they are having. Their ability to adapt to change and shift to accommodate in-demand skills has caught the attention of the market. We are thrilled to be part of this journey with you.
Best Campaign of the Year Award: VMware
Working in partnership with Beamery, VMware used Beamery to create a new series of global newsletters that were sent to sales professionals and solution engineers, some of the most highly coveted and challenging roles to fulfill in the market today. Each newsletter was artfully crafted with an intentional call-to-action, a relevant thought-leadership article, and information on the latest company financials. The execution paid off as this campaign significantly outperformed previous campaigns similar in scope and is now a repeatable blueprint for success. Securing over 715 applicants and expediting their speed to value by highlighting over 100 candidates as part of their VMinclusion initiative which was established to designate diverse candidates while removing bias - it’s no doubt they are deserving of this award.
