The Latest Product News: July 2024

Want to see what’s new in Beamery and what you can get excited about? Here’s what you need to know about the latest product updates, and what’s coming soon…

Here’s a quick summary…

Talent Acquisition: Sourcing, Recruiting, & Hiring Manager Collaboration 🔎

New: Discover a new way to share and review candidates

Reduce time-to-hire by improving collaboration between sourcers and recruiters: use a standardized candidate review process, centered on skills-based feedback.

Sourcers can now share candidate information in bulk, when they review several candidate profile summaries simultaneously. Recruiters can then easily follow up on the candidates their sourcers have shared, provide feedback quickly, and access relevant candidate information – without leaving the view.

Plus, get a single view for all candidates who are pending review, including sourced candidates and applicants.

New: Custom Fields get a makeover

The Profile in Beamery is evolving and we are excited to announce more enhancements coming to Smart Profile this month.

To really understand candidates, and best engage and convert the best-fit talent, you need additional fields that are unique to your organization – the all-important Custom Fields.

In this update, the data from your Custom Fields becomes more accessible, with a brand new responsive design that makes it easier to scan and find the information you need.

We’re now introducing a ‘collapsible’ view option, so users can now choose not to show empty fields – and get a cleaner view.

You can also expect to see a new design for the calendar soon, which makes selecting dates even more intuitive…

Coming soon: New advanced Data Export features

We understand that being able to export data from Beamery into various platforms is important to our customers and so we’re making it easier and more intuitive to do so.

Users will soon be able to export data with times based on their local time zone, rather than the default of UTC, and dates in custom fields will be exported in a more easily readable format.

Users will also be able to select specific columns for export, and there will be an added feature to include the Vacancy ATS ID.

Export links will be accessible beyond the previous 24-hour limit and a notification will alert users when the export is complete.

Talent Acquisition: Candidate Attraction & Nurture 🧲

New: More intuitive candidate experiences

We are constantly looking for new ways to improve the candidate experience, and are excited to announce that we are launching significant enhancements to our Convert feature.

In the coming months, we will create more intuitive experiences for candidates who submit their details, by dynamically adjusting which questions a candidate is shown based on their previous answer.

Each candidate’s experience in Convert will be highly personalized, leading to higher conversion rates… and more meaningful relationships from the very first interaction.

Phase 1: Bring more talent into your pools with new multi-page Convert flows

In this first phase, questions asked in the Convert flow can now be split across multiple pages. This enables the candidate to focus on questions one at a time, before clicking through.

Rather than fill in one static form, candidates will get a more dynamic and engaging experience.

We’ve seen that over 60% of candidates are using Convert flows on mobile, and this new approach should significantly increase completion rates.

Workforce Intelligence 💡

New: See historical changes in your Job Architecture with a new activity log

The skills associated with an individual role in your Beamery Job Architecture are updated frequently. To ensure any changes made are compliant, trackable, and viewable on-demand, we are releasing an Activity Log within the Beamery Job Architecture Portal.

Users will now be able to see how the skill composition of individual roles has changed over time, who made the change and who approved it.
