Beamery: What is your favorite Beamery feature, and why?
Balaji: Undoubtedly, one of the most impressive features of Beamery is the “Prospect in Beamery” stage under Vacancies section.
Through the utilization of this stage in Beamery, we are able to efficiently filter out candidates who have already applied for the specific vacancy, granting us the clarity necessary to differentiate between candidates who were sourced by recruiters and those who applied independently.
By shortlisting candidates and adding them to specific vacancies while we are sourcing, we can streamline our communication and follow-up processes, greatly improving our efficiency.
Describe the problems you are able to solve with Beamery.
Before implementing Beamery, candidate communication was fragmented across multiple channels such as LinkedIn, Outlook, and ATS systems, creating a significant challenge. However, with Beamery’s integrations, communication record-keeping is now centralized under the “Timeline” section, providing visibility to the entire team.
All communication with the candidate is recorded in one place, allowing for efficient tracking of communication history even in the absence of a recruiter.
Please share an example of how Vacancies are used at Autodesk.
The “Prospect in Beamery” under Vacancies is a daily stage we use to fill in every requisition we work on. This stage separates candidates who have applied from the candidates you pipeline for the role through external channels like LinkedIn, or searching within Beamery for people who have applied in the past for other positions that we shortlist for this particular role.
