Beamery Boosts its Security Standards by Becoming Listed on the CSA STAR Registry
We are proud to announce that Beamery has completed the attestation process for CSA Star and is now officially submitted to the STAR registry.
What is CSA STAR?
Cloud Security Alliance, the Security Trust Assurance and Risk (STAR) registry, encompasses key principles of transparency, rigorous auditing, and cloud security and privacy best practices. CSA STAR is recognized as the international harmonized solution, leading the way of trust for cloud providers, users, and their stakeholders, by providing an integrated solution that decreases complexity and increases trust and transparency while enabling organizations such as Beamery to secure information, protect against cyber-threats, reduce risk, and strengthen information governance. It creates trust and accountability in the cloud market with increasing levels of transparency and assurance. What's more, it provides the solution to an increasingly complex and resource-demanding compliance landscape by providing technical standards, an integrated attestation framework, and public registry of trusted data.
The STAR Registry lists cloud solution providers and security providers that have submitted a cloud security self-assessment questionnaire or earned a cloud compliance certification from CSA.

Beamery is ISO 27001 and SOC2 Type 2 certified. Why CSA STAR?
By adopting STAR as an extension of its ISO/IEC 27001 or SOC 2 System, Beamery can assure both existing and potential customers that its security systems are robust and have addressed the specific issues critical to cloud security.
The CSA STAR Attestation is a combination of SOC 2 plus additional cloud security criteria from the CSA CCM. Similarly, the CSA STAR leverages the regular requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 management system standard together with the cloud-specific requirements from the CSA Cloud Controls Matrix. In addition, the STAR provides a maturity model assessment that measures the maturity of the organization against CSA’s proprietary maturity model criteria and facilitates the continual improvement process.

Beamery is committed to maintaining and improving its security posture every step of the way to boost customer and stakeholder confidence, enhance corporate reputation, and increase its competitive advantage.
