We kick off the summit with our CEO and Founders, Abakar and Sultan Saidov discussing how Beamery is investing in the Future of Work, which has been an even more urgent topic since the start of the global pandemic. With the unemployment rate at almost 8% across the globe, there is a lot of uncertainty. Change has been the only constant this year, and being agile is the only way to tackle this change head-on. Speaking of change, Stephen Lochhead of Expedia Group will be leading a speaker session around embracing change in a time of uncertainty. You can’t miss it.
In addition to individual speaker sessions, we have three separate panels that cover important topics themed around DE&I, Technology Transformation, and the importance of Talent Operations.
The Diversity and Inclusion panel will feature Arelis Correa of Brown-Forman, Christopher Montefusco of the The National Basketball Association, Jamila Woolford of AstraZeneca, and Samantha Ramsay of Balfour Beatty. This will be an honest conversation with leaders from various backgrounds discussing the challenges and successes of DE&I in the workplace. You’ll want to bookmark this session if you’re like many organizations right now searching for inspiration and ways to evolve your DE&I initiatives.
Transforming your talent tech stack has its barriers. There are so many different technologies in the HR technology ecosystem, that it’s almost impossible to know what to prioritize and what tools are best suited for your organization’s success. Beamery’s Director of Strategy, Kyle Lagunas, will be hosting this panel touching on what skills TA teams should be utilizing, who owns the change, and how to get the most out of limited resources. He’ll be accompanied by our partners at HiredScore, Paradox, and Ph. Creative. Our final panel is dedicated to the importance of Talent Operations. The role of Talent Operations is crucial to the long term success of your talent team. They enable you to adapt and grow in the ever-evolving HR tech landscape while finding the right tools to maximize your productivity and efficiency. Honestly, we’ll be upfront; they are pretty badass.
This panel will be hosted by Cheri Hanson of Sierra Nevada Corporation, Daniel Morales of Better.com, and Kellie Wall of American Family Insurance. Both are seasoned leaders in the talent operations space and will give you the full scoop on what you need to know. Hopefully you’ll gain inspiration and valuable takeaways to bring back your team.
We’re excited to be joined by the Director of Talent Acquisition of Zoom, Phil Haynes. Yes, Zoom, our favorite app that allows us to talk to our friends and family. Well, as you know, Zoom has had an enormous amount of growth in 2020. Phil will be diving into his unique “CRM first” approach in order to scale their growing business. We can assure you that you’ll leave his session with new ideas and a fresh perspective on proactive recruiting.
Spark Live will end with a fantastic session hosted by Gerson Mendez and Mallory Rellinger of Sun Life Financial. This dynamic duo has set their team up for success by transforming their entire talent function into a proactive and simple streamlined process. No recruiter burnout. No manual tasks. They will walk you through how they approached talent transformation by prioritizing efficiency and automation, upskilling their workforce, and taking it one step at a time.
