Beamery is proud to announce that it has now completed certification to the ISO 27001 Information Security Management standard.
Conducted by BSI Group, a market leading global security and compliance firm, the series of audits affirms that Beamery’s Information Security Management System, technical controls and organisational structure across its global business meet the ISO 27001 standard.
“Obtaining ISO 27001 reinforces Beamery’s commitment to deliver world-class solutions via a secure, globally scalable platform. BSI’s independent affirmation of our security policy and controls is crucial for our customers and aligns us to industry best practice and standard.” said Jack Davies, Beamery’s Director, Commercial Operations.
ISO 27001 is one of the most well known international security standards and is based on a top-down risk-based approach to evaluating information security risk within our business. It provides the specification for an information security management system ISMS and is designed to help organisations manage their information security processes, controls and assets in line with recognised best practice.
As a company in the people technology industry, we are very thoughtful about the security of our customer’s data. It has been the driving force behind our decision to seek certification under ISO 27001. The road to becoming certified has seen us develop and refine our existing security practices to accommodate the global scale of our activities.
Achieving certification was a key milestone for Beamery. It enables us to go to our customers with a clear commitment to the security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information they entrust us with.
If you are interested in these aspects of our company’s qualifications, then we’re happy to share that it doesn’t stop there. Alongside continuous ISO audits, Beamery is seeking certification under the Service Organization Control SOC 2 framework in Q1 2020 with our audit partner Deloitte. We’ll be sharing announcements about that as soon as it is completed!
