Workday Rising has rapidly evolved into one of the premier industry conferences.
Not just for the company’s 2,800 odd customers and ecosystem of partners, but also for industry analysts, influencers and press.
Here are our 3 main takeaways from Workday Rising 2019 at Orlando:
The power of one
Workday’s “Power of One” continues to evolve. Today, it represents the power of one ecosystem powered by seamless integrations, end-to-end data integrity, and best-in-class cloud technologies. We’re excited to be a part of this massive ecosystem - represented by 12,000 in attendance.
Closing the skills gap
Skills are the most valuable currency for talent operations in the digital enterprise. Today’s skills gap has every business leader thinking about how they can better develop and reskill workers.
An organization’s ability to catalogue these skills and codify proficiency directly impacts their ability to proactively pipeline critical competencies, and to ensure that they continue to hire the right talent.
At Rising, Workday announced a new Skills Cloud that leverages machine learning to help companies tap talent inside and outside of their organizations and to more effectively connect people with relevant opportunities. It will give HR leaders an understanding of the skills they have and the skills they need and will allow for more effective decision making.
Best of breed partners power recruiting
Recruiting—in all its complexity—remains its own beast, and can’t be contained within the ATS. Workday continues to aggressively push their Recruiting product forward 40+ new features announced in the next two releases, and partnering with best of breed vendors in three critical components of modern talent operations Mya, Beamery, Pymetrics.
Ahead of Workday Rising, we announced the official launch of our certified integration with Workday Recruit. Beamery is the only certified CRM integration, and we’re proud to help shared customers power a more proactive recruiting strategy.
“Beamery is the only vendor that Workday have partnered with for candidate relationship management” - Marlene Scholtz, Director, Recruiting Product Strategy at Workday
