Talent acquisition teams that operate at a global scale are faced with increasingly complex regulation around the collection and handling of candidate and employee data, and risk exposing their organizations to fines going up to the hundreds of millions. They have to take into consideration everything from the GDPR coming into action a few years ago, to the recent invalidation of the US-EU privacy shield, not to mention different data laws in Russia, China, and even in various states in the US.
